Mark Mains started his fire service career, to follow in his father’s footsteps, in 1996 with the Millstone Township Fire Department located in Monmouth County. Mark’s passion for firefighting quickly grew as he rose to the position of Asst. Chief. In 2005 Mark decided to take the next step and became a career firefighter with the Millstone Township Fire District where he currently holds the position of the departments’ engineer. Mark offers a wide variety of skills and talents which include his mechanical background and knowledge of equipment. He holds certification in Foundation Brake and Air Disc Brake training from Transaxle.  Mark is a certified in Hale Pump Maintenance and Operations and is Waterous Pump Certified. He is EVT certified and is working towards earning his master EVT certification.

 

Patrick Howell is a graduate of  Lincoln Institute of Technology receiving a diesel mechanic certification and top honors in his class. Patrick followed in his father and brothers footsteps and is a 21 year veteran of the Manchester Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 and had served as the companies Chief Officer for 4 years. Patrick has Sutphen Aerial training and very efficient  in annual firetruck preventative maintenance.   Patrick also has received his Hale Centrifugal Fire Pump Maintenance and Repair Certification.
